Life in Motion: Kinetic Sculpture Unveiled at the Launch of Positiv Man Magazine

On Monday, June 16, a special launch event took place at the CUPRA – Auto Heller showroom in Ostrava, celebrating the latest edition of Positiv Man magazine, which includes an interview with sculptor
MgA. Vilém Frič
. The event, focused on style, design, and inspiring personalities, featured a standout moment – the unveiling of Vilém Frič’s new kinetic sculpture Life in Motion.

The evening unfolded in a relaxed, friendly spirit – and yet it carried depth and strength, both in content and atmosphere. It was the shared effort of many people who care about quality, craftsmanship, and meaningful experiences. Despite the challenges in preparation, thanks to a well-coordinated team, great energy, and a positive approach, everything came together just in time.

Special thanks go to the Positiv magazine team, the Auto Heller crew, and the CUPRA showroom, which provided not only the space but also its unique style. Guests had the chance to view CUPRA vehicles, enjoy test drives, and experience an evening filled with good food, drinks, and live entertainment. Partners such as Innomotics, Ostravar Brewery, and the 1st International School of Ostrava also contributed to the event.

A Sculpture That Responds to Human Touch

The centerpiece of the evening was the interactive sculpture Life in Motion, ceremoniously unveiled in the presence of the Business & Style magazine’s editor-in-chief Aleš Vítek and publisher Dan Koneval. Made of hand-polished stainless steel, the sculpture gently begins to move with a simple human touch – responding subtly to human energy. Its motion is smooth, quiet, and yet eloquent.

Artist Vilém Frič adds:

“It’s more than an object – it’s a mirror of our actions. The sculpture’s movement depends on how people interact with it. It can flow, but it can also encounter resistance. Just like we do – in relationships, in work, in life.”

Next to the sculpture, works by his father, sculptor MgA. Jiří Frič, were also on display. The joint presentation of father and son, under the Artforest brand, highlighted the family legacy, craftsmanship, respect for materials, and shared values – similar to the automotive world, where tradition often leads into innovation.

An Invitation to the Beskids

Life in Motion will also be on display during Vilém Frič’s solo exhibition TIME AND SPACE IN MOTION, held from July 12 to 23, 2025, at the Prosper Golf Resort Čeladná. Alongside this sculpture, visitors will experience new works that combine stainless steel, glass, stone, and light – exploring themes such as motion, touch, presence, and transformation.

We warmly invite everyone who wants to experience art that doesn’t stand still – but responds. Just like life itself.
