A contemporary sculptor shaped by family tradition and a Renaissance spirit of openness
Vilém Frič creates sculptures, objects, fountains and sculptural design. His work grows out of craftsmanship in metal, a sensitivity to space and a family artistic tradition, which he develops through a contemporary language of light, water, movement and reflection.
Vilém Frič’s objects exist at the intersection of sculpture, functional design and contemporary art.

Vilém Frič’s artistic practice has its own story and naturally engages with space — in public installations, interiors, outdoor settings and private collections.
Vilém Frič is the founder of the Artforest brand —
a family brand presenting the original work of Jiří and Vilém Frič.
Artforest brings together the work of Vilém and Jiří Frič in contemporary sculpture, fountains, objects and sculptural design. It provides a unified platform for presenting their work to galleries, architects, collectors, investors and the public realm.
MgA. Vilém Frič je současný český sochař a designér. Vystudoval Vysokou školu uměleckoprůmyslovou v Praze v ateliéru Kov a šperk.

natural elements, changing space, time and perception
Vilém Frič’s work reveals successive creative periods, differing in theme, material and expression. His approach reflects a Renaissance spirit: openness to a range of forms and materials while retaining a strong sculptural foundation.
Each object has its own story, clear meaning and place within the broader context of the artist’s work. Some periods are more playful, others minimalist and focused; many explore natural elements in contrast with technical and mechanical components.
Vilém Frič’s work consciously documents a process of exploration and the search for the right form. It is lively, changeable and open-ended — like a story that can be retold through a new form, a new approach and a new space.

Selected works can be viewed in person by prior arrangement. Photographs convey form and material, but the true scale, light and atmosphere of a work are best experienced in space.
