Life in Motion: Kinetic Object Unveiled at the Launch of Positiv Man Magazine
On Monday, June 16, the CUPRA – Auto Heller showroom in Ostrava hosted the ceremonial launch of a special edition of Positiv Mhttps://magazin.positiv.cz/agazine, which also features an interview with sculptor MgA. Vilém Frič. The event, focused on style, design, and inspiring personalities, was complemented by an exceptional moment—
the unveiling of a new kinetic object, “Life in Motion,” by sculptor Vilém Frič.
The entire evening was held in a friendly and relaxed spirit, yet it possessed power—both in its content and its atmosphere.
It was a collaborative project of many people who care about quality, craftsmanship, and a shared experience. Although the preparations were not easy, thanks to a well-coordinated team, energy, and a positive approach, everything was finalized on time.
Thanks go to the Positiv magazine team, the entire Auto Heller staff, and the CUPRA showroom, which lent not only its space but also its style to the evening. Guests could view CUPRA vehicles, take test drives, and enjoy the evening with good food, drinks, and a live program. Partners of the evening, such as Innomotics, Ostravar Brewery, and the 1st International School of Ostrava, were also present—each contributing their part.
A sculpture that responds to human touch
An inspiring moment of the evening was the ceremonial unveiling of the interactive object “Life in Motion,” which was attended by the publisher of Positiv Business & Style magazine, Dan Koneval, and editor-in-chief Aleš Vítek. The object, made of hand-polished stainless steel, moves gracefully at a touch—gently responding to human energy. Its movement is fluid, silent, yet eloquent.
“It is more than just an object—it is a mirror of how we act. The movement of the sculpture depends on the person’s approach. It can flow, but it can also collide. Just like we do in relationships, at work, and in life,” says the author, Vilém Frič.
Alongside the sculpture, works by his father, sculptor MgA. Jiří Frič, were also on display. The joint presentation of father and son under the Artforest brand recalled family continuity, manual craftsmanship, respect for the material, and shared values—much like in the automotive world, where innovation often builds on tradition.
An Invitation to the Beskids
The sculpture “Life in Motion” will also be on display during Vilém Frič’s solo exhibition titled
TIME AND SPACE IN MOTION, which will take place from July 12 to 23, 2025, at the Prosper Golf Resort Čeladná. In addition to this sculpture, other new works will be exhibited—connecting stainless steel, glass, stone, and light with themes such as movement, touch, presence, and transformation.
