Each sculpture in this limited series is handcrafted, carrying the energy of the moment and subtle, original details.
The artist chose stainless steel, whose reflective surface intentionally utilizes the play of light, space, and movement.
“Steel becomes a mirror—reflecting the world around it and the person looking at it. What happens around us is simultaneously reflected within us.
We thus become part of the whole—a connection of light, space, and presence. In this way, we can also influence what happens around us and become part of the change.”
These guardian angel sculptures are both a reminder and a positive message.
They embody the belief that even in challenging times, something more exists—a form of goodness that transcends us, even if we cannot always perceive it.
Each work is created through the artist's personal and direct work with the material—from the initial search for form to the final surface treatment.
Angel Wings I. is created through Vilém Frič’s direct artistic work with the material—from searching for the basic silhouette to the final processing of polished and structured surfaces. The work is neither cast nor mechanically repeated. Handcrafting gives each piece its own character, subtle differences, and a unique relationship with light and the surrounding space.
